Patent elbow is the connection equipment used to make turns at 90 or 45 degree angles in the turns of iron pipes.
There are seamed and unstitched varieties.

Meat Thickness: 2,30 – 12,70 mm
Diameter: 28,50 – 1470 mm
Elbow Height: 42 – 1008 mm

Weld-on installations are also used. teeth, grooves, sockets, etc. at the ends. It is a type of fitting that is welded between two pipes in order to make 45, 90 and 180 degree turns on the pipes that are not present.
