Wire Rod Coil Bar
It is a semi-finished metal bar reinforcement in coil form, which is made by hot rolling and is generally used for cold drawing in round or semi-round, square, rectangular and hexagonal sections. In Steel Structure; Iron and carbon alloy containing less than 1.8% carbon; It can acquire a wide variety of properties by mechanical and thermal procedures. Coarse steel, carbon-rich steel with an intermediate composition between steel and cast iron, steel containing one or more of the elements that ordinary steel carries in low proportions (also called Alloy steel) |Silicon and manganese! steel, machine building and manufacturing steel with a high content of carbon and especially silicon (1.30% to 2%) and manganese content of 0.75%. (These steels with high flexibility and hardness are used in the construction of parts that need to withstand impact and abrasion, such as discs and milling cutters of agricultural machines, concrete crushers, etc.
Usage areas
In stirrup, miter, pile, cross tie, bored pile reinforcements,
- Wire production
- Wire mesh manufacturing
- nails and concrete wire
- Production of high strength wire-spring-rope
- Bolt-nut-screw manufacturing
- Welding wire and electrode manufacturing
- Prestressed concrete wire manufacturing
Discs and milling cutters of agricultural machinery, concrete crusher, etc. It is used in the production of laminar springs due to its resistance to fatigue, as well as parts that need to withstand impact and abrasion.
In the coil iron production process, the billets taken to the rolling mill are heated up to 1,200ºC in annealing furnaces. The scale descaler on the billets taken from the annealing furnace is cleaned with pressurized water. The descaled billets are turned into coiled iron by passing through coarse material and cooling processes.
